Networking Like a Pro for Squidoo Lensmasters
People join Squidoo for a lot of different reasons. Many want to share their adventures with their families and their hobbies with each other. Quite a few have businesses they want to promote. If you browse the Squidoo Lenses, you'll quickly discover that writers, photographers, web-designers, marketers, programmers, do-it-yourself folks, parents, work at home moms, and other home-based business owners use Squidoo to network and have fun.
As you get acquainted with their work, you'll see those who have developed a following are talented at creating Squidoo lenses that can be grouped into categories called a niche. You'll also discover that the authors use other websites to find their audience and promote their Squidoo lenses. It's easy to recognize the pattern a Squidoo Lensmaster uses by looking at their brand, niche, and the other websites where they meet others, talk about their work, and complete projects together.
The Spotted Squid specializes in researching the work of Squidoo Lensmasters at Squidoo, on their blogs, or websites, and in social media sites like Facebook. Why do the research? Their work teaches how to build a successful network for a home based business.
If you don't already belong to Squidoo, you can join here. Once you're a Squidoo Lensmaster you can join my Squidoo Fan Page to get updates. If you're a Facebook user, you can join the Spotted Squid fan page instead.
